A construction client won a contract. He needed to complete a series of projects such as river dredging within two months.
In this project, he needed to frequently switch attachments to match the working conditions, such as switching different types of buckets.
Before he used our double lock, it would take at least 5 minutes to manually change the attachments.
With our multi quick hitch, he can switch between attachments in 20 seconds.
The installation setup process can be completed using the following options (A) or (B):
(A) Direct installation from the multi-coupler to the bucket arm pipe via a hose
(B) Installation from the multi-coupler to the manifold block and then to the bucket arm pipe
OPTION(A) HOSES
Check hose lengths. The hoses should be snug around the dipper arm, but not too tight. The hoses should be free to move 10 mm to 20 mm in both directions. Verify that neither hose is pinched or damaged by the squeeze connections in either direction.
Tighten the hose fittings into place (20 ft/lbs/27Nm).
OPTION(B) DISTRIBUTION BLOCK
The manifold block is an ideal way to keep hoses short, it has a natural spring motion that pulls the hose away from contact with the crown link when the hose is in the reverse position.

The manifold block has two additional ports for use with a tilt multi-way connector or tilt bucket.
HOSE POSITION
Warning: Please disconnect the battery before welding. Otherwise, the electronic system of the machine may be damaged.
NOTE: During welding operations, protect the hydraulic cylinder rod from weld spatter.
“Right” and “Left” refer to the operator’s perspective in the machine cab.
Measure the distance from the centerline of the stick pin to the machine's designated distance and make a mark. This mark will locate the back side (no ports) of the manifold block. Remove the paint and weld the manifold block. Make sure it is centered on the top face of the stick.
Note: Only weld the back side (no ports) of the manifold block. Welding anywhere else may result in damage to the ports of the block.
Hose length is 300 mm. Measurements may vary between different machine makes and models.
HOSE POSITION
Install the jumper hoses onto the two center fittings. Hold the nut down and tighten the hoses with a wrench. This will prevent the jumper hoses from turning and allow them to remain in the correct upright position. Connect the existing hoses to the outer two ports of the manifold block and the upper post to the solenoid valve. Secure with hose clamps. Connect the extension hose (right side) to the valve's port "EXT" and the retraction hose (left side) to the port "RET". Slowly cycle the multi-way coupler and check for any interference. If interference is present, contact RAY Attachments Customer Service immediately.
Please ensure that when installing the RAY Attachments multi quick hitch coupler, the pressure in the hydraulic circuit is checked and set to:
